Earlier today during the 2014 CES presentation, famed graphics development Company Nvidia announced that in Q2 of 2014, they are aiming to release a series of computer monitors with G-Sync modules in stalled. These G-Sync modules will vastly improve the visual capabilities of computer monitors, and will hopefully add a new layer of appreciation for computer gaming.

Nvidia isn’t the only company who plans to release monitors with their G-Sync technology either. Also on the list are Acer, AOC, ASUS, BEnQ, Philips, and ViewSonic. So all in all a pretty hefty corner of the computer monitor market will be boasting this new next-gen tech. G-Sync monitors will be available in 24 inch and 27 inch sizes.

Why G-Sync actually does is combat latency and image shuttering, which is naturally occurring with V-Sync, and then also prevents the screen tearing caused by turning V-Sync off. Essentially it is the ultimate tool in creating a balance for optimal visuals.
