Regardless of what one may thinking about the gaming landscape of today, there are lots of options on the table for how you want to tackle your gaming hobby. One of those is the Nvidia Shield, a nice little box that can serve as a media player to buy and stream games, going hand in hand with Nvidia’s streaming service, GeForce Now. It seems you can also now play it with the latest controllers on the market.
The latest update for the Shield include support for the newest consoles from Sony and Microsoft, the DualSense PS5 controller as well as the Xbox Series controller for both Series X and Series S. On the Xbox side, they are largely identical, though the DualSense is a pretty radical redesign compared to previous DualShocks.
The Shield is an Android-based machine, so you can use it to access any of the Google Play titles, and with GeForce Now you can stream a lot of recent titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, etc. Now you have a few more controller options, too.
