Onimusha: Way of the Sword is an action game developed and published by Capcom.
It is the first new mainline entry in the Onimusha franchise in two decades.

The legendary Japanese swordsman is the latest to wield the Oni Gauntlet in the late Edo era, taking on various Genma in his own way.
Set in Kyoto during the Edo era, players will encounter a "unique cast", discover mysterious spots, and engage in bloody combat.
"In addition to regularly releasing major new titles each year, Capcom is focusing on re-activating dormant IPs that haven’t had a new title launch recently.," the company says.
Capcom's long-dormant action franchise is finally making a comeback after years of loud demands.
A Capcom survey is trying to gauge interest in a number of dormant franchises, including Dino Crisis, Dead Rising, Darkstalkers, Breath of Fires, and others.
Remakes for Power Stone and Final Fight also supposedly in the works.
