ori and the blind forest definitive edition

Ori and the Blind Forest was one of the best games last year- the gorgeous and atmospheric platformer was a delight to play through, and it was great to see a game that deserved recognition get the kind of fame and success, critical and commercial, that it deserved for a change.

Ori was apparently so big for Microsoft that they are bringing it back- Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will be launching for Windows 10 PCs as well as Xbox One on March 11, and it will come with a multitude of new features and additions:

  • Packed with new and additional content: new areas, new abilities, more story sequences, multiple difficulty modes, fast travel between areas and much more!
  • Discover Naru’s past in two brand new environments
  • Master two powerful new abilities – Dash and Light Burst
  • Find new secret areas and explore Nibel faster by teleporting between Spirit Wells

So basically, if you haven’t already played Ori (in which case, shame on you!), then this is the way to do it. If you already have? This may not be a bad purchase for you regardless.

You can check out eight minutes of gameplay from the Definitive Edition below.
