Orwell Ignorance is Strength

There’s something very cathartic about Osmotic Studios’ Orwell: Ignorance is Strength, which allows players to comb through various transcripts, files and media to effectively spy on people in a 1984-esque regime. The second season of the acclaimed puzzle adventure had its third episode, Synthesis, release recently and serves as the effective finale. Purchase the entire game now and you’ll be able to play all three episodes.

Ignorance is Strength focuses on Raban Vhart, a not-quite-loyal journalist as the player discovers the truth surrounding him. The key difference in this release is one’s ability to effectively manipulate truth, thus causing multiple different outcomes to take place.

The third episode even brings in the “influencer” option to further push your agenda. The writing may not hold up all the time but it’s still an intriguing premise and the gameplay exploits it fully. Orwell: Ignorance is Strength is currently available for PC. Head to Steam to learn more.
