April is going to kick off with a bang, and apparently a whole lot of guns, with the release of Outriders. As we get closer to the launch, Square Enix and developer People Can Fly have been going all out on the game’s marketing and breaking down various aspects of the game, such as its classes, gear and story. Today, they also look at something you’ll be spending a lot of time with: the weapons.

Via IGN, the developers broke down the various weapons you’ll be finding. The game is very loot based, so there is a lot of weapons, and if you played the demo you’ve seen some of this already. But it seems things will get a good deal wilder than that with some of these funky-looking guns. They also go into mods, which you use to enhance your weapons as well as coordinate with your class abilities. One such example given is using a mod to freeze an enemy and then using one of your abilities that cause massive damage to frozen enemies.

Outriders will launch on April 1st for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. You can check out the known details on the game’s pre-load and launch situations through here.
