Outward: Definitive Edition Releases on May 17th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC

Building on the 2019 action RPG, the Definitive Edition includes new defeat scenarios, diseases and unique encounters in its dungeons.

NineDots’ brutal action RPG Outward will see its Definitive Edition releasing on May 17th. Published by Prime Matter, it will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5. Check out the newest trailer below which outlines a typical day in this unforgiving fantasy world.

Outward: Definitive Edition includes the base game and its paid DLC, The Soroboreans and The Three Brothers. There are new encounters in its various dungeons, new diseases to contend with and even new scenarios to endure upon defeat. Various quality of life improvements like being able to access your stash in another player’s world have also been added.

For PC players who own the base game and The Three Brothers DLC, Outward: Definitive Edition is free. If you’re curious about the base game’s content, check out our review here.
