OUYA Console Available Today, Already Sold Out

The Android console funded by Kickstarter creates an impact on the first day.

The Kickstarter-funded Android console OUYA is now publicly available at select retailers in the US. The console launches with 173 games which include Kim Swift’s Soul Fjord and games from developers such as Double Fine, Sega and more.

The OUYA can be picked up for $99 on Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop and Target with international retailers including Amazon Canada, Amazon UK and GAME also offering to ship the console for foreign consumers.

And the most amazing part? It’s already sold out. On the same day of release. It hasn’t even been 24 hours.

The OUYA comes the console, wireless controller, an HDMI cable, two AA batteries and a power adapter. Each game is available to try out through a free demo, so you can decide if a particular game is suited for you.
