Blizzard Entertainment’s biggest season for Overwatch 2 yet arrives next week with Season 6. It adds three new PvE story missions as part of Invasion (which require a $15 purchase) and a new PvP mode, Flashpoint, with three maps. There’s also a new Support hero, which has yet to be announced.
However, it seems that the hero, Illari, has leaked. Steveooo on Twitter shared images of two Legendary skins on Twitter. They also randomly added, “Can’t be a healing turret character, can it?” perhaps teasing that she can deploy turrets to heal players. Time will tell, but with the next season starting on August 10th, a reveal seems a given in the coming days.
The long-awaited arrival of PvE story missions won’t include Hero Mode, as Blizzard cancelled the same several months prior. It’s unknown when the next batch of story missions will arrive, so stay tuned for more details.
Overwatch 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. It also debuts on August 10th for Steam.
