Overwatch 2 - Lifeweaver

The trailer for Overwatch 2: Season 4 arrives on April 6th, but Blizzard Entertainment is wasting no time introducing players to the new Support hero. Lifeweaver is a hero reliant more on positioning and less on aim, with a vast array of skills. Check out his first gameplay trailer below.

Along with throwing out healing petals, Life Grip is used to shield allies and pull them towards Lifeweaver (which definitely won’t be used to troll). Petal Platform creates a platform that lifts both enemies and allies. As seen in the trailer, it can shift potentially dangerous Ultimates like Orisa’s Terra Surge out of the way.

Rejuvenating Dash allows for repositioning and getting back into the fight but also provides a burst of healing to Lifeweaver. His Ultimate, Tree of Life, creates a large tree that heals allies within its vicinity. It also seems capable of blocking lines of sight, so it’s useful as a barrier of sorts.

Overwatch 2: Season 4 goes live on April 11th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days.
