Overwatch: New Bug Allows Players To Preview Gold Weapons Skins Before Purchasing

New bug surfaces in Overwatch and for a change this is quite helpful.

Players of Blizzard’s hero shooter Overwatch have spotted another new bug in the game, and you know what? This one is actually quite helpful. Maybe Blizzard should consider making this part of the game itself. The bug, as spotted by a user on Reddit, allows players to preview different skins of golden weapons before you purchase them, allowing you to make a better informed decision than what was previously possible.

This is what you have to do to activate this bug (according to one of the users on Reddit) – you click on weapons while you’re attempting to purchase new ones, then you click on Golden, and then click on the “Skins” tab just as it is about to fade out. The Skins button is actually clickable until the on-screen weapon animation is completely finished, so all you have to do to preview the weapons is be quick enough to click on the Skins button before it fades out.

Of course, this is the kind of bug that makes you wonder why this feature wasn’t in the game to begin with. Maybe it should be. Maybe it still might. Here’s hoping Blizzard takes notice of this bug and then rather than “fixing” it, lets it stay in there.
