Overwatch Player Gets Banned For 8 Hours And Loses 300 Skill Points Due To Loading Bug

No response from Blizzard as of yet.

It seems people have been experiencing major issues with Blizzard’s uber-popular multiplayer shooter Overwatch thanks to a loading screen glitch that can actually result in temporary suspensions for some players.

Reddit user Alpha_Drew recently reported this bug, describing it as an “endless loop”. What essentially happens is that the player is taken to the intro screen that shows the teams and their group rating, before being kicked out and sent back to the menus a second or two later. The game then immediately tries to rejoin the the game, and when you quit to rejoin the game, the game has been cancelled, resulting in skill points loss for the player.

The Reddit user claims that this recurring bug actually resulted in him losing 300 Skill Points and even being banned from competitive matches for 8 hours. Apparently, this is a widespread issue for several players and it hasn’t been addressed by Blizzard yet.
