Overwatch Players Discover Cryo-Freeze Roadhog Bug

Blizzard currently working on it.

Posted By | On 25th, Feb. 2018

People find bugs in Overwatch on an almost daily basis, it seems. We certainly report on newly discovered bugs nearly every week, and we have another bug to talk about today. A user reported this on the official Blizzard forums, and it was also posted on Reddit, and it seems a lot of players have been facing this issue.

Apparently, the bug causes issues with the Cryo-Freeze ability, more importantly with characters Roadhog and Mei. Apparently, Roadhog, Mei and their teammates can see Crro-Freeze being activated, but it can also get cancelled by Roadhog’s hook, which then puts the ability into cooldown. This is quite understandably frustrating for a lot of players.

Blizzard, it seems, know of this issue, and they’re currently working on a fix as well. They responded in the forum post to confirm that a fix is inbound “very soon”. “We were actually just looking at this bug earlier this week,” Blizzard’s Geoff Goodman replied. “We have a fix for this coming soon. Thanks for the report.”

That’s definitely encouraging to hear, since that certainly sounds like a bug that could put off a lot of players. Let’s hope “very soon” is just around the corner. In the meantime, stick with GamingBolt for continued updates.
