Overwatch’s Bastion May Be Its Best Character Yet

Bastion of combat.

Overwatch, Blizzard’s very first shooter ever, appears to be en route to greatness, judging by all of the character debut previews we have been seeing, in addition to the extensive gameplay footage, over the last few weeks. However, of all the characters and classes that have been revealed for Overwatch so far, I think that the newly revealed Bastion may be my absolute favorite. At the very least, he is the wackiest.

You see, he is a peacekeeper. And a robot. And he wields a gattling gun. In gameplay, he’s a veritable tank, packing some serious firepower, and he has access to a whole variety of different modes that are featured in Overwatch. He also has a handy self repair toolkit, meaning he may be the most self sufficient character in the game yet.

He also has a long range mode that lets him fire long range shells dealing devastating damage.

Personally, I know who I will play as once the game launches.
