Palworld developer Pocketpair has announced a new joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. and Aniplex Inc. The new Palworld Entertainment Inc. will focus on “developing the reach of the intellectual property” and expand on “global licensing and merchandising activities” for the breakout hit. Check out the official site here.

Those attending Bilibili World 2024 on July 12th in Shanghai, China, can witness the first of these efforts, with exclusive Palworld merchandise to be sold. Pre-orders will be available through Aniplex and other sites, with more details to be revealed later, so stay tuned.

Palworld is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It’s currently in early access but sold 15 million copies on Steam and reached 10 million players on Xbox in the first month. Developed on a budget of $6.7 billion, CEO Takuro Mizobe has confirmed profits ranging in the “tens of billions” of yen.

Pocketpair has seemingly teased a PlayStation version, though an official announcement has yet to occur. In the meantime, check out the latest update, Sakurajima, which adds a new region, Pals, weapons, and more.
