Pocketpair’s Palworld continues to rack up sales numbers since launching into early access for PC , Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. After selling over three million copies in just 40 hours, the survival crafting adventure has crossed four million sales in about three days.
The developer noted on Twitter, “Momentum has increased since yesterday, with the latest sales at 86,000 units per hour.” At this rate, it’s not farfetched to assume that it will reach five million copies sold soon.
In terms of player counts, Palworld has performed exceedingly well, crossing one million concurrent players yesterday on Steam. Its peak concurrent player total is 1,291,967, and it’s not only the most played game on the platform right now, above titans like Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2, but also the top-selling.
For more details on Palworld, check out our review here. Pocketpair is working on PvP and crossplay, but it also wants to include player trading, a raid boss for guilds to team up and take down, improvements to the building system and more. Early access is estimated to last about a year, so stay tuned for further updates.
