Palworld Sakurajima

Pocketpair’s next major update for Palworld goes live on June 27th and features a new island to explore – Sakurajima. Check out the trailer below to see it in action.

Sakurajima offers several new areas to explore, from a new dungeon and graveyard to a mushroom-filled swamp and a traditional Japanese shrine with cherry blossoms. You can collect new Pals, including new subspecies for Chillet and Katress, and a new faction leader awaits. Level caps for the player and Pals are increasing while new enemies and weapons also await.

If that wasn’t enough, the building mechanics are getting overhauled with an increase to the maximum number of bases and new building types (including Coal Mines, Sulfur Mines, Pillars and so on). There will also be a Hard Mode for battling the existing faction leaders, a new raid, and the Oil Rig Stronghold to tackle. The Arena also arrives, providing PvP battles, and Xbox players can look forward to dedicated servers.
