Panzer Dragoon

Once upon a time, when Sega was still in the console making business, they had some pretty out there IPs. One of those was Panzer Dragoon, games about magic, myth and machines all wrapped up into rail shooters (with one being more of a full RPG). That series, like many of Sega’s more fantastical ones, was retired, but is making a comeback. Remakes of the first two titles are in development, and now a new title that also explores the old was just announced.

Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record was announced via a press release. The game is a collaboration between Sega and Wildman. It’ll be a first person title utilizing VR where you relive various episodes of the first three Panzer Dragoon entries: Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Panzer Dragoon Saga.

The game is scheduled to release in Sega’s 2020 fiscal year that ends March 2021. No platforms were specified, so we’ll keep you updated when more details arise.
