Nintendo have released a new trailer for their upcoming Switch RPG, Paper: Mario: The Origami KingThe nearly 6 minute-long trailer offers a much deeper look at various facets of the game, giving new details on its premise, its cast of characters, its world and how you’ll be exploring it, the new combat system that the game will be employing, and more.

Based on this extended look, one thing that’s beyond any doubt is that Paper Mario: The Origami King is going to be a visual treat. You can see glimpses of various locations from the game, from a mansion to a forests, from mountains to sewers, a dazzling desert town, and more- and each location looks vibrant, colourful, and beautiful.

There’s plenty of gameplay information in here as well, with details on traversal and paper-themed puzzles, sailing a ship, an aerial battle, and loads more. The game’s new combat system is also detailed, which sees enemies forming up around you in a ring-based system and you sliding and swapping rings to line them up for powerful attacks.
