There’s a handful of major releases to look forward to in May, and one in particular that many have had their eyes on since its announcement last year is Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the Nintendo Switch. As the remake of one of Nintendo’s most beloved games of all time, it’s no surprise that the game is generating the amount of buzz that it is, and we now know when its reviews will go live.

Taking to Twitter, Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson has claimed that the review embargo for Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door will lift on May 21, which means we’ll begin seeing outlets publishing their reviews of the remake a couple of days before the game launches. Meanwhile, prior to that, as early as April 25, previews and impressions for the game will also be published, which means we can expect new details and gameplay for the title next week.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door will launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on May 23.
