PayDay 2 (4)

Overkill’s PayDay 2 is alive, well and still hosting heists the world over. The developer has announced some new free DLC for the game and interestingly enough, it will see your crew taking part in a stealth heist.

The Shadow Raid Heist involves infiltrating a warehouse that is somehow frequently occupied by private military companies and Black Hawk choppers. Obviously with the opposition you’re facing it makes no sense to go in guns blazing, so you’ll need to take the stealthy approach and escape without raising an alarm. This means stealing keycards to access the vaults with the loot.

What happens if you get caught in the process? You’ll have 60 seconds to procure the loot and then escape. If you don’t escape and head to the safe zone in time, it’s an instant game over.

“No plan B” indeed.

Overkill has also revealed that those wanting to get in on PayDay 2 can download the game for free and play it till June 2nd. Upgrading to the full version will also be possible and you can avail of a 67 percent discount. Sound appealing? Let us know in the comments.
