After dropping a new trailer for Persona 3 Reload’s Episode Aigis – The Answer, several hands-on previews and details became available. It’s confirmed (via NoisyPixel) that the paid expansion will feature five difficulty levels.

While this is good news for those who played the original epilogue in Persona 3 FES, a new max difficulty called Heartless has been added. Though you can transfer the base game’s Persona Compendium into the DLC, making it easier to access Persona for Fusion and other purposes, it’s unavailable on Heartless. You also can’t summon Persona below Aigis’ level, which will make for even trickier battles.

Other features include Linked Episodes – new scenes unlocked by gifting items obtained from the Abyss of Time dungeon to allies. There will be a new opening theme alongside combat tracks, but the original epilogue’s tracks also get some remixes.

Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis – The Answer launches on September 10th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC, with Game Pass Ultimate members receiving access at no extra cost.
