Persona-5 2

The weekly issue of Famitsu has brought us some new information about characters in Persona 5 we were first introduced to in last week’s trailer. Gematsu was kind enough to translate the information from Japanese to English and we know that three of the characters are named Makoto Niijima, Futaba Sakura, Haru Okumura.

According to the character descriptions that were released this week, Makoto is the apparent goody-two-shoes of the group. She’s also straight-laced and refuses to compromise. Her starting persona is Johanna. Futaba is a girl who has superhuman computational abilities. She doesn’t communicate well with others. Her starting persona is Necronomicon.

Haru is a third year high school student and the daughter of the president of a major restaurant company. She’s not the smartest of the group but she is outgoing and a good communicator. Her starting persona is Milady. Persona 5 is due out on September 5 and the developers have said they’ll be showing off more of the game at E3.
