Taking our hearts, clad in leather.

Man, Persona 5 has what might be one the best designed cast of characters  – visually speaking – that I have seen in a video game in a very long time. Certainly, the game seems to have cleared the very high standard that Persona 4 set in this regard. All these characters look like some real people, who also happen to be badasses.

That badass bit is what is emphasized in these new images that were just released, that show off all the characters in their battle attire and poses. The black leather look does all of them good, and you can easily imagine that they are all a group of sleek vigilantes.

You can check out these images for yourself below, though keep in mind that they may constitute spoilers for some people. Persona 5 will launch on September 15 on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan, with a February 14 2017 release planned for North America on those platforms. A European release is confirmed, but we have no date for now.
