I love the Persona games, and Persona 5 is my most anticipated game at the moment… and it has been since 2013, because Atlus really can’t get their shit together when it comes to actually shipping the game out when they said they would. Yes, in case you couldn’t tell, I’m still salty about the newest delay for the game that was announced yesterday.
In the long run, I do think this delay will be helpful. Watching almost 2 hours of gameplay for the game yesterday allayed a lot of my fears about Persona 5– the game looks absolutely incredible, and the localization seems to be top notch too, far beyond any other game on the market.
You can watch these two hours of gameplay too, for yourself. Everything looks great, the game reeks of style, the soundtrack is predictably incredible, and it looks like Persona 5 will go down as the best JRPG of this generation, when it finally releases on April 4 for PS3 and PS4.
