Persona 5

Atlus is upping the ante with Persona 5 Royal, an upgraded version of Persona 5 that will be releasing in 2020 for PS4 in the West. Along with new story content, new events for Mementos, new characters like Kasumi Yoshizawa, and much more. It’s also been showcasing new combination attacks for older characters like Makoto.

Today, we get to see what’s new with Futaba Sakura which includes a new All-Out Attack and Persona. The latter’s name wasn’t revealed so we’ll have to wait for more information but it looks cool. However, we do get a look at her interactions with Kasumi and a new scene with Joker and Soujiro involving cake.

Overall, Persona 5 Royal is looking extremely promising for fans of the base game. It’s out on October 31st for Japan and won’t be releasing for other systems. Also, if you purchased any cosmetic DLC for the original game, it won’t carry over into Persona 5 Royal.
