Persona 5 Scramble Overview Trailer Showcases Signature Combat Moves

Check out the sleek combat of the title along with other mechanics.

A new overview trailer is available for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, offering a quick look at all the different facets of the game. While it’s in Japanese, you can see a lot of the new scenes, how the Musou-style combat plays out and much more. Check it out below.

The trailer highlights arguably the coolest aspect of Persona 5 Scramble, namely how combat techniques from the RPG work in the hack and slash genre. Baton Passes to switch to different characters, All-Out Attacks for bashing foes with an entire party and even the stealth attacks all look seamless. It certainly helps to sell the game as being a true follow-up to Persona 5 rather than a Dynasty Warriors clone.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers releases on February 20th for Ps4 and Nintendo Switch. A demo will be available tomorrow for Japan but those outside the region can check out two hours of gameplay here. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
