Famitsu’s latest weekly charts for video game software and hardware charts are in, and Atlus and Omega Force’s musou action-RPG offshoot Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers rules the roost. It occupies the top two positions, with the PS4 version having sold upward of 115,000 units and the Nintendo Switch version amassing sales of over 46,000 units, for a total of over 162,000 copies sold. That’s quite impressive, especially considering that it’s not terribly far behind Persona 5 Royal’s Japanese debut.

It’s not the only debutant in the top 10 this week, with Spike Chunsoft’s Katana Kami: A way of the Samurai Story also breaking it in. It, too, occupies two positions, with the PS4 and Switch versions at fourth and ninth place, selling over 10,000 units and over 9,000 units respectively. Meanwhile, perennial top 10 residents Pokemon Sword and Shield, Ring Fit Adventure, Minecraft, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe also figure in the charts.

On the hardware front, the Switch is the highest selling console of the week as always, but due to stock shortages brought about by the coronavirus, has seen a significant drop in sales, selling over 41,000 units as compared to last week’s 80,000.

You can check out the full software and hardware charts for the week ending February 23 below.
