Persona 5 Spin Off Domains Registered By Atlus

Persona 5: Dancing Through Tokyo, heck yeah.

Posted By | On 20th, Apr. 2017

Persona 5 released in the west at last earlier this month, and went on to become one of the highest rated games of the year, and the generation, immediately upon release. But if you’re done with the game, and want more of it, the good news is, you may be getting just that.

Registrations for domains by Atlus in Japan seem to be hinting at upcoming Persona 5 products. In Japan, Atlus has booked domains for P5U.jp, P5D.jp, P5AG.jp, P3D-jp, PERSONA-DANCE.JP,P5R.jp, P5Q2.jp, and Persona8.jp. This seems to suggest that Atlus is preemptively safeguarding any Persona 5 sequels and spin offs it may want to do- based on the spin offs and associated media that Persona 4 got, these seem to suggest a Persona 4 Arena style fighting game, a Persona 4 Dancing All Night style rhythm game, a Persona 4 Golden style enhanced re-release, a Persona Q style crossover dungeon crawler, and… a Persona racing game? I don’t know what P5R would be, actually.

Whatever these are, they may be announced at Atlus’s Persona 5 concert later this year (Persona 5 itself got its public debut at a concert). Persona 5 is available on PS3 and PS4.
