Atlus has released some new information (translation via Gematsu) about Persona 5 Tactica, its turn-based tactical RPG spin-off of Persona 5. The story sees the Phantom Thieves trapped in a mysterious world and joining up with Erina of the Revolutionary Army. She’s fighting against the tyranny of Marie and her Legionnaires.
The story starts with Marie brainwashing the Phantom Thieves. Joker and Morgana are rescued by Erina and venture to her hideout, which resembles LeBlanc cafe. The world, known as Kingdom, is not a Palace. Marie’s goal is a wedding and while she’s found a candidate, their identity wasn’t revealed.
While working to rescue the other Phantom Thieves, the group runs into the imprisoned Toshiro Kasukabe, a real-world politician with no memory of how he got there. After freeing him, he helps the Phantom Thieves and provides a logical perspective (though he’s afraid of fighting).
