Persona 5: The Animation Gets a Spectacular New Trailer

Stealing our hearts in the most stylish way possible.

Persona 5 was one of the greatest games of last year, and indeed, is one of the best games ever made. The good thing is that its sheer brilliance will soon have them chance to reach an even broader audience when the anime based on the game starts airing in April.

Ahead of the anime’s launch, Aniplex, the folks behind it, have put out a brand new trailer for the series- and it looks absolutely spectacular. The animation quality is through the roof (previous Persona anime adaptations had visibly constrained budgets), and it looks like the treatment Persona 5’s story deserves. There is even an all new track, made exclusively for the anime, playing! You can check it out for yourself here. It’s a great trailer, in spite of no Makoto.

Persona 5 is available now, exclusively on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Make sure to read our review for the game for yourself here.
