The Nintendo Switch is one of the best platforms for indies, thanks to a simplified publishing process and streamlined development tools. Toodee and Topdee, a similarly promising indie, is making its way to the Nintendo Switch very soon – check out the trailer down below.
Toodee and Topdee is a puzzle-platformer that sees players swapping between two protagonists – and shifting the perspectives to make crossing a level possible. You can shift objects around to make way to jump across, drain out water to solve a puzzle – and much more. As announced on Twitter, the game releases for Nintendo Switch on April 14th, and will be available on the eShop.
Meanwhile, Toodee and Topdee has already been available on PC since last year – and currently stands at a very positive rating on Steam. The concept of shifting perspectives to solve puzzles is clearly inspired by Fez, so fans of that game should definitely check it out if they haven’t already.
