Speaking to computerandvideogames.com, Peter Molyneux believes that the next game is the Fable series will no longer be a role playing game, in fact he claims it will be an action adventure game. Fable III is taking a different route this time with no hud display for health and if the players life is danger than the screen will change colors just like in the first person shooters these days.
“I’m not sure I even call Fable an RPG any more,”Certainly not a 1990s RPG, for sure.
“In a way, you could look at it and say it’s like an action adventure. There’s a lot of drama, there a lot of story, there’s a lot of emotion in there – but with levelling up. I love that levelling up.
“I’m not the sort of person that likes being given a pre-planned character and told “this is you no matter what”.
