As the days count down to GTA 6, S-Game’s Phantom Blade Zero looks like a worthy detour, launching October 28th at 7 PM PDT. Pre-loading goes live on October 26th at the same time, and a physical edition has been announced to release on PS5 in 2027, including Standard, Deluxe and an Ultimate Edition with a collectible steel case.

If that wasn’t enough, the developer has released the launch trailer, and it’s chock-full of new details, including weapons and bosses. At one point, Soul wields a bladed umbrella, which can be thrown like a buzzsaw to execute enemies. He then switches to dual blades to transform into a raven to swoop down and attack. Don’t even get us started on the two-handed sword, which can unleash a fiery tornado.

There’s a lot to unpack, and thankfully, it’s out soon on PS5 and PC. Check out our feature for the latest details you should know about the hack-and-slash action RPG before its launch. S-Game has promised at least 50 bosses while teasing a “few more,” and also said that enemies won’t respawn. This is to ensure players always have something new to experience, especially in terms of enemy variety. Head here for more details.
