Phantom Dust HD Launches on Xbox One and Windows 10 Tomorrow For Free

Well, that was unexpected.

What happened to Phantom Dust, which was meant to be a reboot of the cult classic Xbox game on the Xbox One, was a bit of a tragedy. Microsoft had since promised that a remaster of the original game would be coming out on the Xbox One and Windows 10, at the very least, and we had been promised that it may even come out ahead of E3 this year.

But with time passing by and us hearing nor seeing anything of the game, it was hard to figure out just when exactly the game might be available. The answer- tomorrow. The best part- it is absolutely free for everyone, no questions asked.

In an incredible move, Microsoft has announced that Phantom Dust HD, the remaster of the original game, will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10 tomorrow, for absolutely free, for everyone. That’s one way to win back some goodwill you may have lost among fans of the original game, at the very least.
