Phil Spencer wants everyone to know that this year’s E3 is going to be even more exciting than last year’s. As you’re no doubt aware, the 2014 E3 was the first where the Xbox One had been on the market and therefore the first where Microsoft could really strut their stuff with that console. By all accounts, it was indeed a good showing but it didn’t absolutely blow people away. This time around Spencer says the reveals are going to be bigger and the press briefing will be stronger overall.

Spencer used Twitter to build up the excitement as he engaged with fans. One fan specifically commented that 2014’s E3 was going to be hard to beat, and Spencer responded, “I honestly think this one is better but of course I’d say that. I just think the content is stronger this year.” Another fan asked him how excited his company was about the upcoming event and he again sounded confident in this year’s content saying, “Some interesting changes this year for briefing and the week. I like it when we test ourselves to do better each year.”

This is hardly the first time Phil Spencer has teased what Microsoft is bringing to E3 2015. Just last week he was on Twitter again and talked about the fact that his Xbox team wants to bring quite a few more first party titles to the mix. Luckily, we won’t have too long to wait to see just what exactly Phil Spencer has planned as E3 2015 kicks off on June 16 and goes until June 18.
