Planet of Lana

2021’s The Game Awards has wrapped up, although fans had no shortage of exciting game reveals and other interesting announcements of both indie and AAA titles. Planet of Lana largely fits into the former category, and you can check out its latest trailer down below.

Planet of Lana revolves around the protagonist trying to make it out alive in a post-apocalyptic planet that is overrun by machines. Presented from a side-scrolling experience, Planet of Lana seems to be brimming with some gorgeous art direction that’s surprisingly reminiscent of something like Horizon Zero Dawn. There also seems to be a heavy emphasis on cinematic presentation, with set-piece chase sequences being shown off in this new trailer.

The game is being developed by Wishfully and published by Thunderful Publishing, and its music composition work is done by Takeshi Furukawa. Planet of Lana will be releasing sometime in 2022 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
