PopCap Games recently released a new dev diary for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, providing new information on six new classes that have appeared till now. It also showcases some new variants and maps like Zen Peak and Boney Island.

We’ve already seen Imp and Z-Mech, with the former acting agile on his own and able to summon the mech to fight with larger foes. There’s Rose from the Plants side who can turn Zombies into goats and Kernal Corn, the leader of the Plant offensive who wields dual cob busters. The Zombies have Captain Deadbeard and Super Brainz, both with their own deadly abilities.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 releases in Q1/Q2 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. The new classes add up to 14 classes overall with more than 100 characters for players to choose from. What are your thoughts on the game thus far? Let us know in the comments.
