Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare Debuts at E3 2013, Coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360

It's time to get...seedy!

PopCap announced during the EA press conference at E3 that a new third-person action title based on Plants vs Zombies would be coming to the Xbox One, before arriving on the Xbox 360.

Hilariously starting off with the booming bass more associated with Battlefield, the game is titled Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and will seek “t o capture everything we love about epic action games, and blend it with everything fans love about Plants vs Zombies.”

Four player co-op gameplay in survival mode is showcased and players can choose different plants like the Peashooter, which scurries across the lawn shooting at zombies. The Sunflower serves as a medic, while the Cactus is the sniper, mirroring their roles in the classic strategy series.

Also, it appears that there will be Disco Zombies and boss battles with the same. Zombies with afro hairstyles, complete with own music. Seriously. And yes, it is as awesome as it sounds.
