Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare

Micro-transactions have come to PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and Eurogamer has discovered listings for the in-game currency (listed in pounds).

The overall listings are:

  • 13,500 coins: £0.79
  • 30,000 coins: £1.59
  • 85,000 coins: £3.99
  • 200,000 coins: £7.99

There are some packs you can purchase as well. The Crazy Pack will include a rare item and costs 10,000 coins. Some packs cost 40,000 coins but you’ll also find some packs which cost as little as 1,000 coins. The coins serve as in-game currency and while they could earlier be earned by playing missions, micro-transactions now allow you to breeze through all that and pick up the good stuff right away if you lack the time or incentive.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is set to release on June 27th for PC. It will include the Garden Variety Pack and Zomboss Down content expansions. Stay tuned for more information as we near its release.
