Play Black Ops II multiplayer first at gamescom 2012

Today it was announced that gamescom 2012 will be the first place Call of Duty fans will be able to get hands-on with Black Ops II’s multiplayer.

Located in Hall 6, booth A21/B30 – A31/B30 from 15th August onwards, gamers can go hands-on and compete in a huge Call of Duty Multiplayer arena.

For those not lucky enough to be making their way to Cologne, fans around the world will be able to bask in the the World Premiere on Wednesday 15th as Major Nelson and Graeme Boyd stream the footage from the gamescom floor right into Xbox Live.

The reveal begins at 5pm GMT 15th August with exclusive interviews with Treyarch.

Thibaud de Saint-Quentin, executive vice president and CEO of European Publishing at Activision, said: “With more than a quarter of a million visitors expected over four days, Gamescom provides the perfect opportunity to reveal the new Call of Duty®: Black Ops II multiplayer to European players and gaming fansfrom around the world. Gamescom 2012 will be the most exciting and engaging to date.
