Remember the Xbook One, the custom made Xbox One solution that somehow managed to make the bulky console into a laptop? Well, the guy who did that is back again, and this time he has modded the PlayStation 4 with a 3D printed solution to create the PlayBook 4, a PlayStation 4 in a laptop form, and it comes with a 22 inch Vizio 1080p screen.
The PlayBook 4 is available in the following flavors:
- PlayBook 4 — $1395 (extra $50 for HDMI out)
- PlayBook 4 (you provide a PS4) — $1095
You need to put a non refundable $750 deposit up front if you want to order one of these, which makes sense since these are not mass produced, they are made to order. We are assured that the consoles are not modded or in any other way tampered with to get you, for example, banned from the PSN. And while the modifications that entail a making of the PlayBook 4 do void the official warranty, the PlayBook 4 comes with a 30 day warranty of its own.
So… yeah, I guess.
