PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

For the scores of players in the huge multiplayer hit Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds still hoping to win that savoury chicken dinner, the idea of new terrain to explore is a nice idea. Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds creative director Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene teased us all with the tip of the iceberg with a few screenshots last week, showing never before seen areas and suggesting a new map.

Today’s fresh batch comes to us courtesy of NVIDIA. Within the shots, we see wide open desert terrain not unlike some kind of New Mexico suburb, or at least a long abandoned one.

While there are lots of small houses to ambush from as is Battlegrounds fare, we can also see malls and towering cranes, which should prove useful if you manage to grab a sniper. While the wide open desert is just anxiety inducing just looking at it, imagine those tense treks across the uncovered landscape.
