PlayStation 4 Design to be Revealed in April-May Event?

Sony may host another event to fully reveal the PS4.

Andy House, Sony president, introducing PS4
A new rumour is doing the rounds and it says that Sony will be making a big announcement regarding the next-generation PlayStation 4 in April or early in May. This is according to PCMag, who spoke to a source familiar with SCE’s marketing strategy.

And since the Game Developers Conference was the last real show till E3 2013, it’s only logical that Sony will have another event like their vaunted PS4 reveal to make the big announcement. And according to the same source, that will be in April or early May.

We can’t think of anything bigger than Sony finally revealing the PlayStation 4’s design to the world and properly discussing the launch titles and third party releases that will accompany the system.

Other factors, including the DualShock 4’s functions, Cloud Services and even Sony’s motion controller plans outside of the SixAxis and Move, may also come into play.

Would it be too much of a stretch to see Kojima take the stage at this point? Time will tell if this rumour bears fruit.
