Sony have released a brand new commercial for the PlayStation 4, shared over their social media channels, and, it’s, uh… it certainly is something. The new commercial harkens back to the Sony commercials of old, which were bizarre and enigmatic, abstract and sometimes gleefully over the top.
The commercial is titled ‘King,’ and it shows a medieval king interacting with a whole lot of PlayStation games, including Spider-Man and Horizon: Zero Dawn. What the point of the commercial is, I honestly don’t know, but it’s a well made one, and it’s got us discussing the brand, so hey, it does its job effectively.
