The PlayStation Experience will be returning this year; it will be held on December 5 and December 6, in San Francisco, to give players the insight on the latest and greatest upcoming PlayStation games in 2016 and beyond.

“What can you expect this year? For starters, a ton of hands-on time with 2015 and 2016’s biggest games, plus a front-row seat for major PlayStation announcements. Plus some of those patented PlayStation surprises you’ve come to expect,” Sony said on the PlayStation Blog.

Last year’s PlayStation Experience gave us some major announcements, including the announcement of David Jaffe’s new game Drawn to Life, as well as the confirmation of Persona 5 for North America. We also got to see more of the eagerly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

What can we see this year? Well, since this year, the PlayStation Experience is a known quantity, it’s safe to assume third parties will be more willing to share their surprises and announcements at the event, rather than holding them back like they did last year. That alone, alongside Sony’s own major announcements, will probably make the PSX this year far better than last year’s already great event was.
