Sony have announced that their mobile platform has now expanded to include 8 new countries. Gamers with PlayStation certified smart phones will now be able to download the free PS Mobile app and browse the PS Store in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweeden and New Zealand.
PlayStation Mobile games will work cross-platform across you PlayStation certified Smartphone, tablets, and on the PlayStation Vita. Additionally downloaded games will be accessible on all three after only paying once, meaning you can pick up and play the same game on any of your platforms at any time at no additional cost.
PlayStation Mobile launched in Europe and the US in 2012 with a catalogue of 21 games. Their plan is to coninute to expand on the mobile gaming medium. A comment from Sony on PS mobile read:
“PlayStation Mobile marries fun, engaging PlayStation-style gaming with the convenience of PlayStation Certified mobile devices and an intuitive store navigation and purchasing experience.”
