PlayStation Now Beta Has A Rental System

Might be a neat feature, but this is, after all, just a beta.

Sony has gone berserk with the PlayStation Now beta. How? Well, they just added approximately about a ton of games to the beta catalog, and they’re all arguably great games. Catherine, Contrast, GRiD have to be the highlights of the catalog.

It also seems like Sony’s added added a rental system to the beta. This means that you can rent to play a game in complete capacity for a period of 30 days, or 14 days, or 7 days. No pricing’s been revealed yet, but we’re guessing it’ll go up as the time span of your rent increases. We don’t know yet if this feature will make it past the beta, but we sure hope it does. It seems nifty.

Here’s the complete list of the new games added to the beta:

  • Heavy Fire: Shattered Spear
  • LUMINES: Supernova
  • NIGHTS Into Dreams…
  • Retro/Grade
  • Sniper Elite V2
  • Puppeteer
  • Eat Them!
  • PixelJump Racers 2nd Lap
  • PixelJunk Shooter 2
  • Ben 10 Omniverse 2
  • Contrast
  • FUEL
  • GRID
