After announcing the PlayStation Project Q in May, earlier this month, Sony formally unveiled the remote play portable device as the PlayStation Portal, confirming that it would be out sometime in 2023. Now, via an update published on the PlayStation Blog, the company has given the handheld device a firm, official release date.

Sony has announced that the PlayStation Portal will launch on November 15 this year “in select markets”. Currently, pre-orders for the portable are available via PlayStation Direct in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Meanwhile, under a month from now, on September 29, pre-orders will also become available at select retailers in the aforementioned countries, as well as Canada and Japan.

The PlayStation Portal is a remote play-only device, and will stream PS5 titles over WiFi on an 8-inch LCD screen that’s capable of outputting at 1080p and 60 FPS. It will also feature all the features of the PS5 controller, DualSense, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, though the device does not have Bluetooth support. The PlayStation Portal retails for $199.99.
