PlayStation VR Gets A New ‘Accolades’ Trailer From Sony

But why release this months after launch...

15 Things You Need To Know About PlayStation VR

While the PlayStation VR has sold more than either the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive, it’s an open secret that it – and by extension, VR as a whole – is not necessarily doing as well in terms of mass market appeal. We were promised that VR would be big, the ultimate culmination of video game technology, and the next paradigm of games- but none of that appears to have happened, with most developers and publishers refusing to commit themselves seriously to the nascent format, and most customers remaining uninterested.

Possibly in a bid to push the PlayStation VR, Sony has released a brand new trailer for it- a trailer that shows off the various accolades it has received. If seeing how positive the buzz was around the product months ago when it first launched will change your mind on getting one, then this trailer may be right up your alley.

The PlayStation VR is available now, and runs exclusively with the PS4, and PS4 Pro. Global sales are currently at under a million, with 900,000 units sold.
